At Uttrakhand Offbeat, we chiefly focus on providing well organized trek packages in less crowded places so that adventure seekers like you can walk off the beaten path and enjoy the mighty Himalayas in its full glory without having to navigate through the host of urbanites. Yes, we have got here for you that rustic charm which is diminishing fast from most Himalayan trails. Even though there are trekking agencies aplenty in the Garhwal Himalayas, our newly established company Uttarakhand Offbeat have come up with a different aspiration altogether. Our founder Sunil Panwar, having been born and brought up in a quaint Garhwali village felt the need of exploring new trails and to widen the scope for treks and expedition in Garhwal Himalayas. He had undergone several courses regarding mountaineering and that knowledge and experience aided him in discovering hidden trek routes. Having thought of pilgrims and nature lovers who are unable to bear the hardship of treks and expedition he has also come up with a plethora of religious tours and recreational trips. One of the biggest inspiration of Sunil has always been his beloved father Mr. Hardev Singh Panwar who himself was a reputed mountaineer for many years in Garhwal Uttarakhand. Mr. Hardev Singh Panwar one of the most famous trekking and Mountaineering guides in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, He has more than 40 years experience in trekking and mountaineering field, He is first indian guide to cross the challenging Panpatia col in 2007 as a guide. Also he has done Panpatia col expedition more than 10 time. Mr. Hardev Singh Panwar successfully completed more than 10-12 high passes, More than 8-10 medium high passes and more than 10-12 challenging peaks in their mountaineering field experience in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. And later his son, Mr. Sunil Panwar also stepped in his shoes successfully. He also did many challenging treks and Expeditions including Panpatia Col multiple times. Mr. Sunil Panwar completed his mountaineering courses (BMC, AMC, Search & Rescue and MOI) from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, He is in Adventure, Trekking and Mountaineering field since 2006. He has successfully climbed India's third highest peak Mt. Kamet also he hase successfully climbed Mt. Satopanth Peak as this he has climbed many more peaks in Uttarkashi district and crossed many high altitude passes and medium high altitude passed. He has worked as Technical Instructor more than 10 years and now also working as a Technical Training Incharge in Adventure Sport Company. Having served the adventure segment for more than ten years, Sunil Panwar the founder of Uttarakhand Offbeat felt while all trekking organizations are on the same old routes year after year, he should bring some unknown trails to the limelight. With a vision of providing unparallel experiences to the trekkers, he with the help the villagers from surrounding villages have come up with virgin trails that promise utmost uniqueness and much-coveted freshness. We now boast 15-20 new trekking routes in Garhwal Himalayas and have categorized them into winter treks, summer treks, monsoon treks; High Altitude Mountain pass treks, Peak Expedition and many others.
